Kim walked into Potomac Point Winery and could not help but to squeal with excitement! The day had arrived and she was surrounded by many pretty details. 🙂 Her sweet bridesmaids were just as enthusiastic for her and built up the enthusiasm even more when it was time to see Rob. I love that Rob and Kim decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. They held on to each other soaking in the moment of pure bliss and admiration. Rob and Kim have been together for a longggg time so this wedding has been anticipated. Let’s just say that their celebration did not disappoint! I mean when you get JMU Alumni together, especially MRD Alumni, you better expect a good time. 🙂 Loved seeing so many friendly faces!!

Saturday was a HOT day to say the least. I thought AJ and Marina’s 115 degree heat index day was the hottest in my career, but Rob and Kim’s wedding was a different kind of hot. The humidity levels were at its highest which meant for a lot of sweating. Just in our short time together outside, my hair was saturated. Sounds gross, I know. Rob and Kim looked SO great despite the heat/humidity. At least I wasn’t the one being photographed! Lol! Speaking of the humidity, I don’t know how Rob and Kim got so lucky but the rain came while we were driving to the ceremony site and then diminished as soon as the ceremony concluded. We ended with a beautiful sunset and we took full advantage of the sunshine during the first look as well as right before the reception. 🙂

Thank you Rob and Kim for dealing with the heat and for making Saturday SO enjoyable!!! Every minute of the day was so sweet and beautiful. I cannot say enough how much of an honor it has been to photograph your engagement and wedding day! CONGRATS and enjoy this preview from my point of view!!! XOXO! GO DUKES!
