It is always a nice thing to do service for the community. I LOVE giving back! I really like making the time … and I have been trying to think lately how I can give back to the community, but honestly life has been SO hectic with my job transitioning to the new schedule of Tuesday/Thursday shift (Wohoo!). I’m just now catching up with everything! As of now, I have everything completely cleaned off … all sessions edited and packaged off! Only thing I have on my plate right now is editing the reception party from this past weekend! Can you believe it?! So proud of this! I’m trying to stay on top of things and get ahead so I can move forward with completing my sample album to get printed (PLEASE!!!) … and I really want to get back into designing my bridal welcome package bridal guide … So much to still do, but at least I’m keep up with the current flow! Well, until June 😉 June is honestly going to be CRAZY! I have SIX weddings in June alone which means double header weekends. So I am purposefully not taking in many portrait sessions next month so I can focus on my wedding clients! 🙂

So a couple weeks ago, my pastor asked me and two other photographers to take photos for Mother’s Day after church for the families of the Sound Church! It was WONDERFUL!!!! My gosh, to be able to bring the families together afterwards for a family portrait and then throw in props to make it fun for a few photos made it FUN! Chloe, Stephanie and I had a great time talking to the families and setting this little photo booth up!

I believe it is important to give back with your talents! Why not make someone else’s day?! I have been active in community service for years and still want to keep it in mind when doing my business. A few months ago, I did a session and donated the money straight to the SPCA. 🙂 Just little things like that is important! I sooooo wish I could make more time for more community service, but I think that will come over time in the near future. For now, Maybe another mission trip? Hmmm! 🙂
