Yay! SO excited for this new adventure happening tomorrow! Sonya and I get to meet several enthusiastic photographers ready to learn! So funny, I NEVER would have thought to be apart of hosting a workshop … I am still new in the business industry buuuuttttt I have figured out great systems to help me keep sane in my business while having a full time job. It makes a huge difference keeping my stress level down and I am eager to show the attendees to help them out as well! It’s all about organization and staying on top of the back end of business. And when you have a happy office space/client management, the happier your clients will be! So, my part of the workshop is to teach these systems and talk about handling a full time job with a full time business. I KNOW I’m not the only one out there who struggled with this.

Sonya asked me a month ago to join her in doing a workshop in Northern Virginia this month and I could not turn it down! She has hosted several workshops/mentor sessions and has seen my business develop ever since starting out officially in June 2012, so I was so flattered for her to ask me to host with her! 🙂 Never would I have thought about hosting a workshop this soon or even in the coming years … but with having Sonya there, it is going to be a fabulous experience as I get to know every one of the fabulous photographers!

Along with being in charge of talking about office management/organization (because I LOVE being organized), I’m in charge of the styled shoot and have already gathered an awesome team of vendors and a gorgeous wedding set up! 🙂 SO excited to have photos to share from this weekend’s festivities! 🙂

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and hope for NO rain/storms!!! And NO invasion of cicadas! …ewww, I’ve already found a TON of them on trees and my porch. 🙁 They are comingggggg! I would post up a photo of how disgusting they are all over the trees, but I did not want to get close enough to them to see. Lol! So I’ll keep my blog pretty and not post any scary photos of blind bugs. 😉
