This was my very first time to photograph a back to back wedding … let me clarify, in the course of two days. Because of my packages and how I am here for my bride/groom in their prepping stage of their big day, it is basically impossible to do two weddings in one day since I go 8-10 hours per wedding. This weekend, I had Brian and Katie’s wedding on Saturday and then Scott and Ellie’s wedding on Sunday (yesterday). Let me just tell you that this weekend was the BEST experience doing a double header. Both of these couples set such a wonderful example how God should be put first in a relationship. My gosh, in both ceremonies you can just tell how they were of course there for their significant other, family and friends … but more importantly, they were there to be blessed by God to start their marriage. The laughs, tears … so many emotions held on the time of the altar this weekend. Really though, this IS what it is about! Putting your faith and love out there for everyone to witness before God … it was a great remembrance of what the wedding day is all about. Not all the lovely details, or the year of planning, or the amazing delicious food … these are all a bonus! It is about the bonding of the couple with Him and confessing their love to one another. Such a beautiful thing!!! So glad to be able to capture these precious, important moments. š
For now, you will just get to see these sneak peeks before I post up more through the week! š ALSO- Be on the look out for my sample album coming to the blog!!! Eeee! Got it in the mail yesterday …. AMAZING! Will be talking all about it along with photos this week! So many awesome posts this week! Stay tuned!
By the way, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all fathers out there!!!! Seriously, what better gift there is but to celebrate Father’s Day weekend with having your daughter marry her best friend?! You know that these two fathers this weekend were just SOOOO happy by their daughters marriage. š So sweet! Definitely be sharing more father/daughter love through the blog post this week!
This is what you have to look forward to this week with weddings:
Brian & Katie
Scott & Ellie
Have a fabulous start to your work week! xoxo
