Clint & Alexis | Bethany Beach, Delaware Engagement Photographer

It was Bethany Beach where Clint, Alexis, her family and I met at the wee hours of the morning for a beach sunrise session. I absolutely LOVE the beach … and obviously I LOVE photography … so those two put together equals a fabulous session! πŸ™‚ Too bad the beach has to be so far away from home! From the boardwalk to the seaside, we had a BLAST running around as the session started off cool before the sun decided to break through the fog and the clouds. Seriously from being cloudy to being sunny, the temperature must have changed 20 degrees and it became HOT! Whew! Made you want to jump right in! Of course though, Clint and Alexis were down for anything … even if they did get a little wet during the running around we did. πŸ˜‰ Thanks guys! You are AWESOME!

The best part was when they took out their bikes … oh boy I got excited! Especially when I saw the PINK bike. Oh yes! It was awesome! Let me just say that I was super impressed with these two when it came to doing what I asked of them … when they held hands on the bikes, the first click of the shutter they had it! Great job Clint and Alexis!

Clint and Alexis met through mutual friends … oh and before I get too much into the story, Alexis is a fellow JMU Alumni *GO DUKES!!!* … anyways, Clint and Alexis met through mutual friends where their friends schemed that they were perfect for one another. After meeting each other for the first time in DC, Alexis was unsure if they would see each other since she was leaving for the beach the following day. Well, come to find out that Clint traveled up to Bethany Beach to visit some friends and that is where their love story began. πŸ™‚ They hung out one night at the beach and the following day was when Clint would have to travel home … but in his journey home, he felt the urge to turn around. He turned around at the Bay Bridge to see her again. (Guys, seriously … isn’t this the cutest story?!?!) … A few weeks pass and they started to date. After over three years of dating, he knew it was time to pop the question. Clint took her out to the Melting Pot for dinner one night and she was definitely catching on to him acting a little suspicious. She just knew something was going on and that he might pop the question right then and there. But he threw her off by waiting until after dinner. They were at home relaxing when he walked from around the corner and asked Alexis to stand up … and that is when he got on one knee asking for her hand. πŸ™‚ Of course she said YES! Congrats you two!!! So cute!

Thank you Clint and Alexis for bringing me up to such a meaningful spot of your relationship! I had SUCH a blast!!! Cannot wait for your wedding day because we all know that it will be here before we know it! πŸ™‚ Enjoy the preview! xoxo
