I drove up to Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast just remembering driving past this place years ago thinking that was a gorgeous venue … well, sure enough I was photographing a wedding Saturday! I was stoked! I met up with Breanne and started running around taking prepping shots and loved the little spaces I was finding around the house! Classy, preppy, romantic … Already off on a great start! We were soon off to the church and once I arrived, I started mapping out my game plan for the ceremony. I was warned from the church coordinators to watch what I was doing otherwise, the priest will let me know by giving me “the eye”. Lol! That made me feel a little uneasy since every church/priest is different, but I reassured them that I am very respectful when it comes to running around during the ceremony. It was not until the reception that I had the priest approach me after seeing some photos on my slideshow … This was my first time hearing any comment/review from a priest regarding to how I did. Gosh, my heart sank until he just bursted out with enthusiasm, “I love you!”! He was so pleased seeing how I handled the ceremony and believe me, this was such relief hearing this from someone who sees many photographers come in and out each week. What I really loved about the ceremony was how involved Joe and Breanne were! I love seeing the love demonstrated to God, not just to themselves, but to the church and to their family/friends!
