Let me start off by saying … 9 MORE DAYS!!!! So excited but also wondering where did this Christmas season go?! I’m still trying to finish vendor and friend gifts while I’m pretty much done with family gifts (except for wrapping and receiving half of them in the mail). I hope these next few days go by slowly so I can catch up with time!
Saturday was the beautiful Brock and Caroline’s wedding in Richmond! I had an awesome break as my last wedding was Paul and Megan’s John Marshall Hotel wedding in Richmond … and I say awesome break because this 1.5 months gave me the time to catch up with EVERYTHING! š Last week, I felt so great and ahead so it was the perfect way to come into Saturday’s wedding! I have learned SO much from the 30 weddings I have photographed this year that I plan to carry the strategies into next year so I never fall behind on editing. The week turn arounds make me so at ease and feel soooo accomplished, it is EASY once I dedicate my time to do it! And that is exactly what I’m doing today. š I’m editing Saturdays wedding and making the time to get back into the gym! I’m not sure why it has been so long since I’ve last gone but I’m now marking off this day to start going weekly! Wish I had the time this year to make it to one of the Jingle Bell Runs, but I’ll be counting for next year! š
Last night, Kyle and I attended my sister’s performance of the Living Christmas Tree! They did AMAZING and I am so proud of her! A perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. š Kyle and I came home to watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer … LOVE classic movies … they never get old! Soon, we will be with my family watching Christmas Vacation and Christmas Story (both movies that are a MUST watch in the Messick household). I love this time of the year. š
For now, here is a sneak peek from Saturday’s wedding. š
