Seriously?! Christmas is really just a few days away?! This year has to be the fastest flying year on record! Really.
The presents are wrapped under the tree (including a little gift to Pixie … hey, I was good this year about thoughtfulness!) … house fully stocked on fresh cookies … decorated inside and out … plans set with families for Christmas Eve and Christmas day … I’m feeling pretty good right now! Buuuuuuuut, today and tomorrow are the last days I have to cram in a bunch of Christmas activities! Lol! Yesterday was the start of the festive Christmas week and unfortunately Kyle and I did not successfully cross off my list, but that is okay! Last night, we built the structure of our gingerbread house and tonight we will be decorating it! Ohhhh the fun part! 🙂 I’ll be sharing the completed photo once it is done … since I have not made one of these since I was a kid! One day, I would LOVE to see the Nutcracker again or the Siberian Orchestra in person … ohhhhh my gosh, that would be a dream! At least there are many more Christmases to come in the future! 🙂
This weekend flew by as the winter solstice came and the final wedding of the season happened to fall on the shortest day of the year. So really, it felt like the shortest day as we ran around as typical but the lighting was SO good to us! I have many more photos to share of Jeremy and Kaye, but I will only share one for now. 🙂
