January 2013, I unveiled my new branding and what an exciting time it was! I was mostly excited to know that I created something that would last me a longgggg time! Honestly, we artists never settle 100% with a brand because we are always growing and progressing. This year I decided to take on little projects to REFINE my brand. I refined my website, blog and other behind the scenes works. Today, I want to share with you my portrait and wedding photography packaging! My branding means so much to my business and I … after all, it took me SO long to decide what describes ME in one logo. Why not put it to great use not just through a logo? Packaging really “spoils” the client. It’s like receiving a Christmas gift! With the layers and layers of unwrapping to reveal their beautiful product, it creates an experience for them.
This year is a completely different year for my business and I. I was able to refine the design of my packaging to give it more of an experience with adding a few other key things to make this a “wow” factor for my client. I LOVE it! I’m sure next year there will be more revisions, but that’s what growing is all about. Exploring and inventing new and creative ideas. One of the reasons why I love to be an artist. 🙂 Because this year is a different year for my business, I want to plan ahead. I sat down for a few days and prepackaged about 70 boxes preparing for this year. I always plan to package and ship every Friday in my calendar, but if I were to sit down and package each box every single Friday from scratch, it drains a lot of time. I’m in my “slow season”, so why not take the few days now and think ahead to save time later when you’re in the hustle and bustle? I’m excited that I can just go into my closet and pull out a ready made box for each of my clients so I’m not stressing on time. 🙂 Enjoy this preview of my new and improved photography packaging!
Love this wrapping paper by SpoonFlower!
Loved the idea of adding lace into the package for elegant textures and to give my packaging a delicacy.
Adding their name onto the package increases the personal factor, which is key in business.
I LOVE this handmade flower pressed paper. I’m mixing it up this year with some of this paper and some “seeded paper”. What’s so AWESOME about the “seeded paper” is that there are directions how to plant the entire piece of paper and grow flowers out of it. Useful and cute!
Let the spoiling begin for my lovely clients this year! <3
