Well I’ll admit that I’m holding onto everything around me because it feels like the house is going to blow over from this crazy WIND! The power was knocked out last night … right when I just finished making homemade banana bread. Only problem with this situation, I just finished putting it together and was only in the oven for 5-10 minutes before the power was cut off. Such a sad way to end the night… haha!

Anyways, I thought today I would share something a little different on the blog! Clearly I’ve been having a break from shooting … for a few reasons. A) The weather and the SNOW on the ground. B) Spring has not sprung yet. C) I’m soaking in every minute I’m not shooting so I can prepare myself as much as possible before the season begins. It looks like next week I’ll FINALLY be able to get back into the groove of photographing with 2 engagement sessions and a wedding at one of my favorite venues, Morais Vineyard! 🙂

I’ve shared with you in the past what my sample wedding client albums look like, but I’ve never shown what an album looks like from start to finish. From details to prepping to the ceremony to family portraits to the wedding party to the couples portraits to the reception details and ending with the reception … it’s good for my viewers to see how an album is modernly put together. What I love so much about a modern designed album … it’s clean … timeless … tells the story of the day in a clear layout … all the things I want to embody in my work of art.

Here is a preview of a completed album (digital flip book)

Here are a few examples of what the album looks like in real life:

I LOVE seeing the final product! I believe it is SO important to print your wedding for display. If you don’t do it now … when will you?! Don’t let it sit on your USB drive. Having this on your coffee table will give guests and family members the chance to relive those special memories or gives you a point of conversation to share your love story. <3
