Last summer, I moved out to the mountain side of Fauquier County and I admit that I will want to stay in this area. There are those who move as FAR away as possible from where they were born and raised, but I’m pretty content in this area. DC is an hour away … the ski resort is an hour away … the beach is about four hours away (okay, not super ideal) … the farm life is right outside my door … vineyards down the street … I say this is pretty nice! I’m only renting a house out here for now, so while I’m at it I wanted to have the perfect office space for my business! I’m full time now and so this space needs to a breath of fresh air when I walk into the room so I WANT to “work”. 🙂
So as you may recall, I shared my office space with you back in August when I first moved in. Oh goodness, I remember scrambling around getting the house put together any free second I had when I wasn’t photographing … it. was. crazy. This winter time, I have been “refining” my business. De-cluttering, simplifying, organizing, updating from my every day life to my website, blog, packaging, business paperwork, workflow and finally my own office space. I feel like it is now a space I want to share with you as I’m feeling more content and moved in.
Enjoy the updated and refined look of my office space! Realistically, it isn’t anything DRASTIC to the eye that I’ve changed but it is enough to make a difference for a more polished appearance. 🙂
So lucky to sit here everyday for business work. 🙂
As you may remember if you were to look back at last years post of my office space, instead of these frames filled with photos I had my workflow charts that I was unhappy with. Read about my NEW and improved workflow charts here! 🙂 Love looking around the room to see prints of my work! And I am OBSESSED with this crystal camera my aunt gave me for Christmas! Lovely elegant touch!

Pixie decided she had too much fame yesterday to be apart of this shoot and sleep in her tree while I took photos. Lol!
So nice having the logo treated like a piece of art. Really, your logo should be special and shown off! Why not! 🙂
Gosh, I look back at photos of what these shelves to the left looked like before … complete transformation! Thank goodness! It was a cluttered mess!
I also updated my collage frames hanging above my chairs! So refreshing to see newer work hanging on the walls. 🙂

I love my desk! 🙂
I’m here all thanks to every step I took … starting with James Madison University!
In this small vase, I keep dried flowers from my great grandmother and my granddaddy’s funerals to always remember them.
Told you I was going to print this photo out of Kyle and frame it! 🙂
Where I sit everyday. 🙂
Remember the Memory Jar post? I have this on my desk to remember to continually update the jar so I will have a full jar of memories by the end of 2014! 🙂 Also on my desk, on a shelf, I have this photo of my parents on their wedding day. 🙂
