There is something SO special about this particular couple. After seeing them together during their engagement session, it was VERY clear that they genuinely care for one another. And that was more than obvious on their very wedding day. As their special family and friends came together for this special occasion, I could tell really how beautiful this wedding was. The smiles and laughs shared between not just the bride and groom but between families … it was a true celebration of marriage!
After Nicole told me her wedding was happening at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, I was SUPER to photograph them there as in the near future I want to start specializing in weddings similar to this set up (gardens/plantations/wineries/farms). The place was of course beautiful, especially with the flowers starting to bloom in the gardens. What I thought was super unique and awesome was during the cocktail hour, generally guests are having to spend their time eating/drinking (which of course everyone doesn’t have a problem doing) but in this case Oatlands Historic House and Gardens opened their mansion house and offered to give free tours around the house while we took photos. What an awesome idea to keep guests entertained during this time! Other things I loved at their wedding … the kilts! They celebrated their wedding with an Irish twist, which my brother should be excited to see as he owns his own kilt! I also LOVED their beverage bar with unique drinks like … Orange, Lemon, Rosemary Water and Raspberry Tea just to name a couple. The Lemon Rasberry and Cocoa cupcakes were a true hit and loved their cake table set up. Check out all of their details they put together to make this day happen. 🙂
I cannot thank you two enough for honoring me and including me apart of your special day. Truly, it could not have been more perfect. <3 What a wonderful day to always look back on! CONGRATS!!!! xoxo
