Olivia & Ava | Crockett Park, Virginia Senior + Sister Portrait Photographer

I’ve never been in a situation where I was actually scared and concerned during a portrait session … we were walking around taking photos when all of the sudden we were hearing screams coming from the woods. I had NO idea what was going on or even what to do?! A minute later, a loud horn went off in the park. Something is DEFINITELY wrong! And then I get the message later on that it was just a signal that the park was closing down. Geez, really?! Haha! I had a part of me wanting to put on my superwoman shirt and run into the woods to figure out what was going on! At least no one was in trouble … definitely a memory together that I won’t forget! 😉

Gosh, I feel like I’ve known Olivia for a LONG time! And actually, come to think of it … I’ve known her for almost a decade. Whoa. Time is going by wayyyyy too fast! I’ve seen her grow into a beautiful woman since her freshman year of high school. Now she is graduating GMU next week! Whoop whoop! In celebration, she wanted to have portraits with her younger sister. I LOVED our time together! It’s so easy to drift away from old friends. I definitely realized this last weekend when I got together with some girlfriends to road trip for our friends wedding. I mean, it never feels like months of not chatting … always feels like we pick up where we left off, but it is important to reconnect and STAY connected! Olivia is a sweet and motivated young lady and I am SO proud of her and her accomplishments! She’s on her way to doing great things after graduation and I am looking forward to seeing that progress. 🙂
