I feel like I have so much to go over this week and I’m SO excited about it!!! First, yesterday officially marked my business 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! WOHOO! I am ecstatic to be celebrating this because honestly, there is so much to celebrate! I’m fortunate that I’m able to call this my one full time job that is capable of paying my bills to survive through the year. Of course though, I’m never 100% sure of the future, but I am holding onto Gods hand to guide me. I trust that he will supply me with the courage and strength to get through any challenges ahead. I know that there are many of them ahead, but that’s why we all need to celebrate the little things to really appreciate what we have. I’m thankful for everyone’s support and encouragement! As an artist, it’s challenging all of the time. I may not always share my struggles but I’m willing to open up to you all because it is important for you to know that I AM human with a lot of passion and heart in what I do. Thank you everyone for getting me here where I am today. It means more than you know it! XOXO!
In celebration of my 2 Year Anniversary, I’ll be doing a little something different on my blog post on Thursday! June 5th, I’ll be celebrating my birthday so why not do something special in return for you all then!!! 🙂 Be on the look out! You won’t want to miss it!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with this beautiful weather we had in VA! 🙂 Incredibly thankful that the weather was THIS great to both of my brides … and honestly, that was extremely fortunate as both had outdoor ceremonies. I cannot wait to share more of these two special days of my friends with you on the blog this week! Here are some sneak peeks to share for now!!! 🙂
Justin & Kristen | Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast in Orange, Virginia Wedding
Craig & Erica | Khimaira Farm in Luray, Virginia Wedding
I took off Sunday to relax because honestly, I had a huge wedding hangover!!!! And the hangover was definitely not from alcohol because I don’t drink on the job! Haha! 2 days of going HARD 100% of the time left me to sleep in until 10 a.m. Sunday morning. Kyle and I had an amazing breakfast, tidied up the house, straightened up my office space and equipment and then we were off to town for a little shopping! 😉 When I say I went on a shopping spree at the new Charming Charlie in Gainesville … that would be an understatement. I was on a raging spree! Lol! But I found myself with some cute new necklaces for upcoming weddings and I’m excited to have an excuse to dress up again! After I was done AWING over the new Charming Charlie, Kyle and I went off to see the new X-Men movie. AMAZING by the way!!! Before Kyle, I was not really into a ton of action movies. Come’on, I’m a girl! I love me some chick flicks. 😉 But he weaned me into the X-Men movies and I have to say that I was floored by this one! Definitely recommend going out and seeing it! We ended the night with homemade lasagna and Game of Thrones … of course. 😉
Here are some personal photos from my weekend! 🙂
I’m sharing this photo below because I was SO proud of myself last Friday morning right before Justin & Kristen’s wedding! I had everything all ready to go for the double header weekend, including all edits done from the wedding/portraits before then. I love being able to stay on top of my “weekly to dos” and so far it has been one of the biggest blessings in my business yet to call this my full time job! I’m able to SERVE my clients and pour my heart and energy into each and every one of them. So thankful for that! 🙂
I love my brides and grooms!!!! xoxo
The wedding party snuck me into the photo booth for some craziness! 🙂
One of my favorite shots of the night!!! Love every one of them so much!!! Can you see what is in common? They are all Stephanie Messick Brides! :)))
Happy Monday!!! xoxo
