Happy end of June! Can you believe that we are celebrating the 4th of July THIS WEEK?! I’m constantly reminded how fast time flies by and just knowing that we have just 5 months until 2015 is a crazy thought! Although, I am ready for Christmas. 😉 Did I just say that?! I’m only saying that because I was switching out my Scentsy scent last night when I was deep cleaning my house and was smelling some of the Christmas scents I had left over from last year … talk about Christmas spirit!
These next couple of weeks will zoom by as I’ll be preparing for my summer vacation to the OutterBanks! Wohoo! I have just a few sessions left and one more wedding before I have my first weekend OFF since March! 🙂 I have something super special planned with my SMP Brides to kick off this “down time” I have planned for the Saturday I leave for the beach … I’m SOOOO excited about it and will be sharing the details after the event! Eeep! 🙂
Last week was surprisingly relaxing! I did take a spontaneous overnight beach camping trip with my love on Wednesday/Thursday … so until then, I worked my butt off to get my editing done! By Friday’s session, I was all caught up which is SO different from last year’s routine! Of course though, I was still working another job and transitioning into a new space … but so far, I’m REALLY enjoying my work schedule. Don’t get me wrong, I work MANY MANY hours … definitely more than a typical 8 hour day + wedding hours … but I have a great system now that keeps me on track from week to week to ensure I keep my turn around time on track!
Sunday, I spent my day celebrating one of my best friends bridal shower! So nice to see my friends and to see how happy Amanda was! It was a gorgeous event her future sister-in-law put together! I cannot wait to see what the wedding will be like!!! :))) The rest of the evening was spent deep cleaning my house (always necessary) for 4/5 hours! It’s funny how much time it takes to clean but it is so worth seeing the time and patience put into it because it is seriously a breath of fresh air to me seeing a clean space!
