What a gorgeous weekend it was! I hope you all were able to enjoy the sunny weather when it was around! 🙂 It all started with Rob & Jennifer’s beautiful wedding day on Friday! This was one of my first Friday weddings of the year where I did not have any other weddings planned for Saturday/Sunday! It felt like I was able to plan weekend plans for the first time in a long time. 🙂 I spent Saturday being able to go shoe shopping for my friend who is getting married in October and fortunately … we found the perfect pair!!! Success! Sunday, I was able to spend time with friends and go tubing down the Shenandoah River … I really wish I had some sort of photos from any of these weekend festivities, but that failed! Although, one of our friends ended up with a broken finger from jumping off the rope into the river. Not a pretty sight at all! Fortunately, even though they were calling for bad storms yesterday we had sunshine and then a little down pouring rain towards the end. I definitely want to do it again!!!! If you want to do anything for the middle of the day, pack a lunch, refreshments and go tubing down the Shenandoah River with some friends … SO much fun!!! I believe you can also go camping along the river which is something I would absolutely want to do in the future. 🙂
