Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap | Cherry Blossoms, DC Photographer

I hope everyone had a FABULOUS weekend! After the gloomy weather we had for a solid week, the sun was just what we all needed this past weekend. 🙂 The trees were blooming and it was definitely the ideal spring weather we have all been dreaming of. So happy that Marc and Caity’s beautiful wedding day happened during this ideal weekend! I’ll be sharing more of that this week on the blog. 🙂 Due to cherry blossoms, I had to SQUEEZE in my schedule like crazy for everyone who wanted the blossom photos this year. From my lack of paying attention to the news, I didn’t realize there was this “little race” happening in D.C. Sunday at sunrise. When I arrived in the city at 6:30 a.m., I was in disbelief when I could not find one parking spot for over TWO HOURS! Talk about insane … There were apparently 15,000 runners who were a part of this race (from what I was told). My sweet couple hopped in the car with me and we drove around until we found somewhat of an illegal spot I could park and finally start our session after 9 a.m. It was a crazy morning but I am so thankful for their willingness to make this work. 🙂 Cannot wait to share more tomorrow on the blog!
