It was a little over a week ago I received a text from my dad saying that his fields were COVERED in yellow flowers. Oh he knows me well. I have tried to photograph in those yellow flowers every year and want to make it a tradition because they make my heart swell with joy! The backdrop is bright and happy! I intended to have a session in these flowers this year but the timing didn’t work out for my couple. After a little brainstorming I thought, why not offer it to all of my brides for whoever is interested?! I posted on my Bride Facebook page to see if they were interested and it was a huge hit to my surprise! I had couples who drove over 30 minutes to get to the farm for their 10 minute time slot. In order to make it fair and for me to fit it in my schedule, I offered 10 minute time slots from 6:30-8:00 p.m. It was great catching up with my couples who I haven’t seen in a while. I had a blast photographing those who could attend. I hope to make it a tradition so my other couples have a chance to book it in my schedule. 🙂 What a fun time!!!!
Enjoy some of my favorites from these little sessions together. 🙂 I previewed Sarah’s wildflower portraits a couple days ago along with her engagement portraits if you want to check out those as well. I LOVE my SMP Brides!!! <3 xoxo!
