HAPPY JUNE!!!!! Oh guys, so many great things happening this week! First, I just finished the busiest month of weddings I have ever done and I am so ready for a massage. 😉 Haha! It has been an AMAZING month and I am blown away from the couples I had the privilege of getting to know through this journey. Truly, a month I will never forget and it’s all because of them. Sure, they put together fabulous details and one heck of a party but it was the sweet love I was most attracted to all of my couples. I found myself tearing up … A LOT. I’m surprised I haven’t learned by now to start carrying around tissues with me to the ceremony! Words cannot describe how thankful I am for each and every one of them for allowing me to document these special moments to share with their family, friends as well as their future children, grandchildren, great children, etc. 🙂 I’m so unbelievably honored!
You may have noticed that my blog slowed down a little bit and there is a reason for that! I wanted to make sure I was not overloading myself too much with the 8 weddings I had booked for the May month. I decided to not take on any sessions the last half of May so I can focus 100% on my couples since I had 5 out of those 8 weddings within a 10 day period of time. It will probably never be like this again as my schedule will be slowing down over the years to come but I’m happy to take advantage of this time connecting, forming relationships with my couples, getting to know them and documenting their love story while I’m young and do not have family obligations. I have grown so close to them and will continue our friendships for the years to come. 🙂 I’m on cloud nine after looking over my May calendar as a whole!
I’m really excited for this week for a couple of reasons, besides sharing some recent weddings. I took this week off of sessions to make sure I’m 100% caught up on editing before next Saturday’s wedding, but this week I will also be celebrating my 27th Birthday (yikes!) Â on Friday as well as my Three Year Anniversary of my business!! Wohoo! I have noticed as I age, the years start to go by faster and faster. It’s a scary realization but I need to remind myself to embrace these days, months, years.
