This month marks Chris and Emily’s One Year Anniversary! Cannot believe it has been a year since their Early Mountain Vineyard wedding! So many great things have happened since then, one of the great things being that they are expecting a sweet little girl this summer! So of course for their One Year Anniversary portraits, we decided to celebrate by making it a maternity session with Emily! Of course we needed to include Chris in these photos! We met at the Fredericksburg Battlefields and played in the wheat … oh and how dreamy it was! I wasn’t anticipating for the sun to be out but I’m glad it decided to peak out during our time together. 🙂 I was on my way to Fredericksburg when I received a text from Emily saying that her floral crown never came in so she was rigging her own quickly before the session began. The only thing she knew was that the crown was anticipated to arrive that afternoon but the mail never came. On their way out to meet with me, they saw the post office man in the next subdivision over from them! Fortunately, they were able to retrieve the crown from him just in the knick of time! WHEW! Awesome how that worked out. 🙂 Excited we had this beautiful little touch for her maternity portraits! Emily, you looked absolutely radiant!
