The day started with everyone being super positive about the weather even though the forecast was predicting some pretty intense storms and flash flooding in the evening. No matter what happened, they were going to be married and celebrate! Everyone was all set to go, including Anthony and Ashley’s guests, when the rain decided to start. Luckily, the rain only lasted from the moment the parents walked into the ceremony to Ashley making it up to the altar. Then the sun came out! Talk about God’s presence being there. 🙂 After their lovely ceremony and finishing up with the family formals, I turned around to realize that there were some super dark clouds heading straight for us. We got the wedding party together for some quick photos and then we were off for as much portrait time as possible before anything crazy happened. In fact, we were outside photographing with visible lightning in the distance … it was super sketchy for sure but I’m glad we managed to squeeze in a full portrait time together before rushing inside. As soon as dinner was served, the storm arrived and it wasn’t pretty by any means … The lights were flickering and you could not see a single thing when looking out the window. Fortunately, it didn’t disrupt this party! As soon dinner wrapped up so did the storm. I looked outside to see that it was still sprinkling but the sun was out which means one thing … RAINBOW! I immediately ran outside with Anthony and Ashley and managed to get one photo before the rainbowS disappeared! You remember Greg and Alyssa’s Marriot Ranch wedding earlier this spring with their luck for a rainbow after their ceremony?! It must be the year of the rainbows! Although, I would be happy to not go through the rain scares anymore because it has been pretty consistent from weekend to weekend. 😉
I’m so happy everything worked out for Anthony and Ashley’s big day! They were GLOWING and I love the little moments that happened during the reception between the two of them. The way that Anthony holds on to her so tight during their first dance or that little moment of Anthony running through the room to grab Ashley for a big kiss and run off to dance … They are seriously SO cute together!!! I am honored I had the privilege of getting to know them through this process with them! I am confident they will have a strong and everlasting marriage. 🙂
THANK YOU Anthony and Ashley for having me a part of your wedding day Saturday! 🙂 Wishing you both the best in the future! Enjoy some of my favorites!! xoxo!
A little mom-daughter moment. 🙂

The rain looks like snow! So magical!
Then the sun came out to stay for the ceremony!

Lol! The father of the bridesmaid was watching him like a HAWK!
One person lit 10+ sparklers together … it seriously RAINED fire as soon as they all started sparkling! Crazy little moment right when the Anthony and Ashley dipped for a kiss but it looks magical!
