First of all, can I just say HTTR!!!!!!! I have been an awful Redskin fan this season but I was finally able to watch a game yesterday and all I can say is perfect ending!!! JMU also won their game over the weekend as well! Wohoo! Perfect football weekend. 🙂
I cannot believe the Nor’Easter kept us all in the gloomy weather for SO long! I wasn’t sure when the next time that we would see the sunshine, especially when they were predicting hurricane weather today. Thank goodness that was pushed to the side! It can be hard on my scheduling when an entire week is filled with rain because no one wants rainy photos. Taking those sessions and figuring out where to squeeze them into my already booked fall calendar was a bit challenging but still manageable! Obviously with a wedding, that cannot be rescheduled. It’s important to reassure the couple that everything will work out because if they see you freak out then that will rub off on them. Brian and Courtney were amazing to work with and trusted me Saturday. Instead of being stuck indoors doing portraits, we were able to keep them dry under an umbrella while incorporating the elements that drew them to booking the vineyard in the first place. Rain was not an issue for this wedding at all and I cannot wait to share their special day with you all on the blog soon!
Don’t they look beautiful together? I love how that little bit of wind helped her veil fill in the space!
