We all weren’t anticipating for Saturday to be so windy. So with the wind, it was naturally chilly. Fortunately for the reception time they had a heater set up inside the tent! So glorious! Thank goodness you cannot tell how cold it was outside when you look through the photos. 😉 The set up for the ceremony and reception site was so special to Lauren and her family. When Lauren’s dad came up to the microphone to give his welcome speech, he explained that the farm land was originally bought from THE Lord Fairfax many generations ago. Crazy! Being that it has been in the family for so long, it was an obvious choice to have the wedding there. With the rolling hills and mountains in the distance, it was a beautiful backdrop for this farm wedding.
It still blows my mind that Lauren and I knew each other when we were babies and because of my photography business, we reconnected. I’m so glad it reconnected us because she is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. 🙂 I cannot speak highly enough of Casey and Lauren. They are amazing individuals and better yet, an amazing couple. I know they have a bright future ahead and cannot wait to see where it takes them. God even gave his little blessing on their wedding day by giving them a few rain drops in the middle of the portraits. Haha! The weather forecasters weren’t even calling for any rain! We had a little laugh over it and thanked God for no more than just sprinkles! 😉 Overall, it was a joyful celebration between family and friends. CONGRATS Casey and Lauren!!!!
Thank you Casey and Lauren for giving me the great honor of documenting your engagement and wedding day! I look forward to watching your love grow even further over the years to come … if that is even possible! 😉 SO incredibly happy for you and look forward to creating even more memories together in the future!
