Naturally, there will always be more pressure when another photographer asks for me to do their photos. Whether it is a wedding or even a portrait session, it’s an incredible honor for them to reach out to me. 🙂 This would be their first time by the water with the little one and thought it would be a nice twist of fall and somewhat of a “beach” for their photos by going to Burke Lake Park. We didn’t have to battle any crowds except for parking so fortunately we had the place to ourselves to run around. To me, Fairfax is definitely more city than where we are from but this park is a great contrast with the lake and endless foliage. I have known Heather through Pursuit 31 events and was excited to officially meet her family, instead through Facebook postings. 🙂 They have two precious little ones with fun personalities that kept us on our toes. You never know what to expect from kids but to me, that is why family sessions are so much fun! Plus, doesn’t Aiden look ADORABLE in his tie and driver hat?! My heart melted the moment I saw him in his cute outfit. 🙂 🙂 🙂
