Matt, Tina, their sweet friend and I met at the beautiful Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, VA on a cloudy fall day. The weather worried us a little bit as we drove up to the winery with rain drops hitting our windshields. Fortunately, it was short lived and it was nice having evenly lit photos at every location we scouted together. 🙂 I immediately fell in love with their sweet dog, Tanner, because it was obvious how much he ADORES Matt and Tina. He made me want to run out and buy a dog and put him in a bow tie! Haha! Even though Tanner was in a new environment and didn’t know how to handle the excitement, he did a fabulous job with his parents. 🙂 They are such a sweet, good-looking family!
Matt & Tina’s Love Story
Matt and I were planning on taking a trip down to Myrtle Beach and the day before we were supposed to head down I had to go to work. I woke up that morning with a note on my phone, from Matt, telling me to go to the kitchen and there was also a little Avengers figurine beside it. I went to the kitchen to find a blank canvas, paints, and paintbrushes with another note and another Avengers character asking me to paint a splatter painting before I went to work. After a very confusing paint session, I got ready for work and went to get in my car; I found another Avengers character and a note instructing me to count the balloons that were filling my car. Twenty-five balloons later and I was on my way to work. When I got to work I opened my locker to find one more Avengers figurine and a note telling me he had brought me breakfast. After what seemed like the longest day at work, I got home to find a book cipher using Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and the answer spelled out “suitcase.” I ran to my suitcase to find a folder that made all of my hints come together; plane tickets to Orlando, Blue Man Group tickets (splatter painting), and Universal Studios tickets (Avengers figurines, 25 balloons for their 25th anniversary, and the Harry Potter book).
Flash-forward to our first day at Universal, the first ride you get to is the Incredible Hulk, where there are signs posted everywhere to remove any loose articles from your pockets. Matt begins to fidget with his pockets but refuses to go put anything in a locker. After what seemed like the longest wait for a ride ever, Matt insisted we walk straight to the Harry Potter section, which is all the way in the back of the park. I’m always really excited when we get to this section because I am a huge Harry Potter fan. As we stood on the bridge that overlooks the castle, Matt grabbed someone to take our picture. While we snapped some shots in front of the castle, Matt got down on a knee and asked me to marry him. It was perfect and magical.
Thank you SO much Matt and Tina for a FUN time together!!! Cannot WAIT for your wedding day next fall! Enjoy some of my favorites! XOXO!
