Jon & Hope

That fun moment when I was in the middle of signing my house contract and somehow made a connection that my dear couple, Jon and Hope, were going to be my neighbors this coming up February!!! Such a fun and exciting realization, especially knowing that they just have steps to my house for their final meeting next year. 🙂 I don’t even have to ship out their package! Haha! Another funny note is that I realized that she currently lives next door to one of my other brides! Such a small world. 😉

We arrived at the beautiful park in Fauquier County where we found it a bit colder than anticipated. The winds were lively as one of the Park Rangers mentioned that they had 40 mph gusts earlier in the day. Wind can be tricky with hair when photographing, but otherwise, I love that movement in the photos! Hope looked like she had a Beyonce fan on her! Lol! Love it!!! After running around, we had a fun little segment of photos playing football when all of the sudden Jon took her out! Haha! I enjoyed their playful spirits in front of the camera. 🙂 Already looking forward to their wedding next year!

JON & HOPE’S LOVE STORY

We met in high school in Ms. Wilson’s Spanish 2 class. Hope was a sophomore and Jonathan was a Junior. We didn’t really talk to one another that much but down the road we ended up having some of the same friends. One night in October 2010, Jonathan texted Hope and asked her if she wanted to go to a Sunday Night Football game. We went and had an amazing time (even though the Skins lost to the Colts 27-24 haha) and we have been together ever since!
Jonathan kept trying to propose to Hope but she kept messing it up. He tried taking her to the Redskins/Eagles game last year but she didn’t want to go. He tried taking her up to National Harbor and she didn’t understand why he wanted to go up there so close to Christmas when they were done shopping. Then he made dinner reservations to a fancy restaurant Hope had never heard of. She went online and checked out the menu and saw the prices and told him absolutely not this close to Christmas and made him cancel the reservation. Well, Christmas morning came around and Jonathan wanted to do it by Christmas so they could tell their friends and family. We always start out Christmas morning at Hope’s house. They all had opened their presents and they were all sitting in my living room talking. Hope’s mom came around the couch and held her iPad to Hope’s face and Hope had no idea what she was doing until she saw Jonathan follow her Mom around the couch and she saw the ring box in his hand and she just started crying – well I guess you could call it sobbing because Hope’s family was like “well are you going to answer him?” Of course she saw yes!

Thank you Jon & Hope for a great time!!! 🙂 I am SO excited to be neighbors with you in the next few months! AH!!!
