I hope everyone had a wonderful and festive weekend! Cannot believe the end of the year is just around the corner. Seems like a couple months ago I was starting to prepare for the 2015 wedding season! Now I’m prepping for 2016 and starting to book for 2017! I have some big plans for SMPhotography. ๐ ๐ ๐ I’m calling this upcoming year the year of “SIMPLIFYING”. 2014 was the year of “Refinement” and this year was the year of “Upscaling”. I realized over this year that my workflow system is working for me โฆ. HOWEVER, I need to simplify my systems so I’m not doing more work than I need to. What was my first step to my year of simplifying? Investing in HoneyBook! Seriously, I’m giddy about it! I’ll be writing a post about this in the next couple months but signing contracts is now an EASY task! Not just for my clients, but also for me! ๐ Along with reworking my contract process, I also revamped my investment collections. Nothing major, of course! But now when I have families who are asking about pricing, theyย aren’t seeing my wedding collections too. It’s nice to separate the two categories so they are seeing exactly what they need to see! What’s my next to do? I’m SO excited to say that I’m redesigning my blog/website!!! Coming January 1st!! I’ll be simplifying my design so the content is what is most important. Cannot wait to share with you what I have planned over these months ahead! ๐ ๐ ๐
