I apologize in advance for the long blog post! I had nostalgia going through each wedding photo. 🙂 I have been so blessed with these couples in my life! It takes a lot of trust to have a photographer photograph such intimate moments, especially on a wedding day. That’s why I believe in the engagement session as a great time to get to know each other and build a friendship before the big day! Especially men can be a little skeptical with camera time but our time together prior to the big day always seem to break down that wall. 🙂 I have many girls contact me afterwards saying how much their significant other enjoyed the session and how it surprised them! Win!!
When it comes time to photograph the lovely couple’s wedding portraits, it’s a different scenario from wedding to wedding. The couple could have choosen to have a first look prior to the ceremony or maybe they decided to keep things traditional. Or their wedding portrait time is early enough in the evening where we have time to run out for 5-10 minutes for sunset portraits during the reception. Or perhaps that things ran behind schedule and instead of 20 minutes of portrait time, we only have 10 minutes. Rain definitely seemed to be evident in last year’s weddings but we definitely didn’t let that dampen our portrait time. Whatever that comes our way, I make sure that my couple knows that we are going to be just fine! 🙂 It always works out and I have to thank my couples for their lighthearted spirits! Whether joyful, outburst laughs or super sweet intimate photos, these are some of my all time favorite candids of my couples. I look forward to documenting many more special portraits this coming wedding season!
THANK YOU ALL for a fabulous year!!!! Some of my all time favorite photos! XOXO!
