Thanks Tabitha from Main Street Weddings for these photos. <3
This is me. I feel like wrinkles are in my near future with my scrunched up nose from smiling and laughing often. I just love LIVING! God didn’t create us to work us to the bone! Why not do something you love and run with it? Imagine and dream BIG. When I first started planning the Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run, I was excited and nervous. Those feelings I felt back in January are what everyone should feel when they are making a big idea come to life! It may start off small, but if you are passionate enough it will launch to even bigger and better plans in the future! I’m already seeing that within a few short days following the event! I asked vendors, volunteers and attendees to fill out a survey and it has been great hearing feedback. Sometimes in our business, we want to blind ourselves from constructive criticism. If you ever want to get somewhere, you need to hear it from an outside point of view.
Putting together the Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run was the biggest and most humbling thing I have ever experienced but it was all because of the help I received. There was a point when my grandmother passed away that I dug myself into a dark hole wondering if I should continue with this 5k event. At that moment, I was feeling I was over my head. Between planning the first year of Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run to my grandmother passing to moving into my new home to maintaining my business tasks, I was feeling restless, uneasy and behind. I reached out to my high school photography teacher, Michelle Lieb from Lieb Photographic, and hear some motivation and encouragement. She did just that and more! Michelle lit a fire in me to work through these restless feelings and straighten up. So thankful for her!!!
Thanks to everyone who supported this idea and helped me make Runaway Brides run smoothly Saturday! I cannot WAIT to share photos with everyone tomorrow!!!! Above all else, remember this …
