Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! It feels like these weekends are going by faster than ever. This past weekend was going to be spent outdoors (with the hopes of nice weather) hiking but the threat of snow kept me indoors. Boo! Instead of enjoying the outdoors, I spent Saturday morning purchasing client packaging supplies (SO glad I finally checked this big task on my list!). Once everything starts arriving this week, I’ll be a busy bee pre-packaging packages/gifts so I’m all set for this wedding season! 🙂 Soooooo thankful for a slower spring schedule! If I had the same spring schedule I had last year, I would be technically behind. That would not be a great start to the year!

In a way, I’m thankful for the cold weather. It gave me time to finally start settling in to my home. I started hanging up some decor (YESSSS!) and wrote out a list of tasks for each room to really feel settled. Still have some more painting to do (not much though) until I can officially put away the painting supplies, but I’m feeling great about the transformation that has taken place to become my very own space! 🙂 Also, I honestly feel like an amateur, but I’m finally setting up a fish tank I’ve had since high school! It has been empty for five years so I would say it’s about time!!! Pixie will finally have a cat TV to watch when I’m not around. 😉 Lol!

Along with sprucing up some of the interior rooms, Kyle helped me decorate the front of my house. As you know, Permascapes helped me completely revamp my landscaping a couple weeks ago. What a TRANSFORMATION!!!! This time, we decorated the pots to add a little more curb appeal to the exterior space. Since the temperatures are supposably going up, I’m hoping the plants will survive. I saw Lowes scrambling around trying to bring in all of their plants the other day before the temperatures dropped. It was like we were going through an apocalypse! Haha! It was pretty comical!

Well this is a big and exciting surprise! I just found my photo on the Redskins website!!! 🙂 Ricky and Julisha are officially parents and I’m so thrilled to hear that everything went smoothly! CONGRATS!!!!!

What’s the most exciting part of this coming up week? I’m FINALLY getting a couch!!! Lol! That may not sound super exciting but I haven’t had a place to relax in my house since moving in last month! That’s a pretty long time without a staple piece of furniture. Haha! The small celebrations of moving! 🙂

Even though it was a COLD weekend, I spent Friday evening outdoors with the sweet couple, JR and Stephanie playing in the wildflowers!!! 🙂 It reminded me of last year’s wildflower portraits … They are always so much fun! I’m excited to share more from this session with you all this week!

Sneak Peek

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to their work week! xoxo!
