Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap

This rainy morning has me feeling so at ease. Everyone in Northern VA knows that we are dealing with a drought so rain is a GOOD thing! Although, I’m ready to get back into my pjs, get cozy on the couch and read a book … I wish! 😉 I finished cleaning my equipment from Saturday’s wedding, backing up photos and creating an itinerary for this week and realized that this week is going to be a busy one (as if any busy season week is not busy). The craziness of fall wedding season is just about here! Fortunately, I’ll be attending a wedding this Friday as a guest and then I have a weekend/next week off to relax/adventure/celebrate two bachelorette parties (I’m really not sure if “relaxing” even fits in this time off).

Saturday and Sunday was spent in Pennsylvania for a GORGEOUS wedding, church and friend time. 🙂 I was able to briefly catch up with one of my best friends who is getting MARRIED in two weeks! Eep! So excited for her!

Weekend Recap

Pennsylvania treated Zack and Rachel well! I won’t go too far into telling you everything since I want to share it when I feature their photos (so excited!), but here is a sneak peek!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Weekend Recap

I had the BEST time in PA, but experienced an accident on the way home when I was on I-70 in West Virginia. 🙁 A deer ran out from the left hand side of the road and I unfortunately had no way to avoid it. My luck after getting into a deer accident back in November. I’m SO fortunate the deer didn’t come over my hood or under my car when I hit it … Either way, it’s a scary situation. Glad I didn’t react in a way that could have been worse for my car (like driving completely off the road or overcorrecting). Thank goodness for the accident prevention class my mom signed me up back when I was learning how to drive. Haha! I didn’t really prevent this accident but there are some situations that are unavoidable.

Weekend Recap

Cannot wait to get my car fixed so I’m good to go for the remainder of the wedding season. 🙂 October is almost here … Can you believe it?!

  1. […] brutal winds, so I guess Sunday was the ideal day! I’m excited to say that I FINALLY have my car back after it has been in the shop for over a month from a minor deer accident! God was teaching me […]
