So the Ramsey family has been a part of my business fall season for the past two years, since 2014! Sounds like a long time ago but I have really enjoyed watching this family grow and show off their personalities more and more over the years. We have met all over Northern Virginia, but this time we decided to meet at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station. The park offers a beautiful lake with boats on shore along with trails through the woods. The day turned out to be beautiful (a little hot but cannot complain when we have sunshine), but apparently the park was pretty popular! Runners and ultimate frisbee throwers were coming from all different directions making it an interesting time working around this. Obviously we didn’t want to get hit by a frisbee! Yikes! I didn’t mind staying cautious and working around these obstacles. 🙂
I was just looking through their first family portraits with me and could not help but to admire how just two years makes a difference. The kids have grown so much and it just makes me think how necessary it is to document these moments. So many families disregard family portraits but I appreciate that the Ramsey family returning year after year to make this a tradition … Even if the kids count down the minutes until the end of the session. 😉 Hahaa! It’s cute and I try to make it fun for them. At least they are still smiling at the end of the session! I’ll count that as a win!
Thank you Ramsey family for yet another great time together! I appreciate the kids working through our time together to make it fun and spontaneous! 😉 Thanks and enjoy this preview from our time together!
