Weekend Recap | Happy Thanksgiving!!

Weekend Recap

Can you believe we are in the midst of the Holiday season? I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend! I know the Holidays can be a bit stressful, so I hope you found some time to breathe and enjoy the weekend. Personally, this time of the year is my favorite!! Besides admiring the beauty of everyone’s Christmas decorations, business is starting to slow down for the Holidays/winter time and family and friends are planning visits. This year was much busier than I anticipated so I’m looking forward to not working 70-hours a week, although I’m very grateful for everyone who supported me over the past year and the years prior! In June, I’ll be celebrating my five year business anniversary! AH! Time to celebrate?

So thankful I was able to take off Thanksgiving and the day after to spend with family and friends. I packed my schedule with fun activities and gatherings because I don’t usually get to enjoy weekend festivities since I am typically booked most weekends of the year. I think I took a two-hour nap yesterday after church? Where’s the praising emoticon when you need it? 😉

Old Rag is definitely one of my favorite hikes since it’s close to home, but I’m ready for a new rock-scrambling adventure! I think next year will be a good year to make it happen. 🙂 Oh yeah, Liz and I saw a cub along our travels! A little alarming not seeing the mama bear close by because I’m sure she was somewhere around!

Thanksgiving Weekend

The remainder of the weekend was spent mostly enjoying food and great company. Haha! I mean… Thanksgiving is a great excuse to eat scrumptious food! I even ate oysters which I didn’t think I liked! To be honest, Mr. Bean ruined the idea of seafood when I was little. I hosted my family over on Thursday, and it surprisingly wasn’t stressful all thanks to prepping food early in the day! I’ve noticed that it’s only stressful if I’m standing by the stove with other tasks that need to be done. So … Note to self, use the crock pot and oven as much as possible when hosting any event! 🙂

Thanksgiving Weekend

This week, on the blog, is a busy one!!! Many portrait sessions to feature since last week was a short work week. 🙂 I only have one more wedding, four more portrait sessions and my Christmas mini session day before I’m done for the year! It’s flyinnnnngg by so fast! For now, enjoy this preview with more to come!
