Brides, bridesmaids and friends of the bride! Have you heard of the Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run?! If you want to be involved in the community by doing something beneficial, this run is for you! The Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run is a charity event to raise money for a well-deserved local organization, with the help of your registration fee. 100% of the profits from this event will be donated to Higgins Hope and we are SO excited to support their mission! If you don’t know anything about Higgins Hope, be sure to check out their website because it’s crazy that human trafficking is happening in our backyard.
What if you’re not a runner? Fortunately for you, this event is not timed! 🙂 We want all of the women to feel accommodated! It’s a fun run so our mission is to make sure everyone is having a great time! The Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run is happening at the beautiful Marriott Ranch in Hume, VA. The 5k trail will take you through some of the most gorgeous scenery in Northern Virginia, completely surrounded by mountain views … and cows. Haha! I have personally run a few fun 5k races and this by far is the most beautiful!

The event is happening on April 1st at 9 a.m. Feel free to hang out afterward the run and enjoy the fire pit, views, complimentary breakfast and champagne as well as our preferred vendor show! It’s going to be an unforgettable morning! Following the event, we highly suggest for you to check out some of our top favorite small businesses in the area like, Red Truck Bakery and the numerous wineries!!
