After hibernating in my house all day leading up to meeting Curtis and Emily, I was NOT expecting the freezing temps we encountered Friday evening. WHEW! I had to wear my coat during dinner to warm up. 😉 Haha! Since we were on top of a hill, the wind was brutal! Fortunately, these two were patient and never complained. We had to take some breaks to fix hair, but I’m glad the wind wasn’t too consistent! 🙂 Just enough for a little Beyonce action! Hahaha!
They have been together for two years, and I’m so glad we were able to celebrate the occasion with these photos! More importantly, these photos are more precious than ever because Curtis’ deployment is approaching fast. We are so thankful for you, Curtis, and your courageous heart! Thank you for your service!!!
Their contagious smiles and laughs kept the session in good spirits, despite our frozen fingers! Haha! Curtis and Emily made the trek all the way from Virginia Beach for these sweet photos, and I’m so thankful! We were half way through the session when I found out that Emily attended Liberty High School with me! Small world. 🙂 She wasn’t in my grade, of course, but I loved hearing the connections from our hometown! Emily and Curtis are so darling together! I had the best time running around Sky Meadows Park getting to know them both and photographing their fun relationship. 🙂
Thank you, Curtis and Emily, for being so willing to run around the park and brave the freezing temps! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Enjoy this preview from our time together!!!
