I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend! 🙂 I cannot believe wedding season has officially begun! This winter season flew by soooo fast, but I’m excited to be back photographing sweet and joyful couples!! If Saturday is any indication of what is ahead, minus the rain, then this year is going to be a good one!! Although, even with the rain, everything was smooth and beautiful (so relieved!!)!! I’ll be sharing more about the day later this week. 🙂
This weekend was quite productive! I quickly learned that laser tagging is a WORKOUT! Although, we were laughing really hard because the other team seemed like pros with their strategies, which had me running back and forth across the arena. Cue the workout. Afterward, we went bowling where we found that my crew was a good luck charm! It has been YEARS since I have last bowled and I was surprised that my scoring was very consistent. There was one epic play that I still have no idea how it happened, but there were three pins left all scattered across the floor, and after chatting with my team about how to make it happen, their plan of action worked, and I got a strike after what seemed to be an impossible setup! I’m very hopeful for the next time I play. The weekend was also spent with some JMU friends wine tasting at the beautiful Stone Tower Winery. The sun was out during our time there, which was uplifting! After indulging in delicious wine, cheese and cake, we headed next door to paintball! Drinking wine before paintballing is a good idea. 😉 Haha! I’m so incredibly grateful and thankful for dear friends, especially at this point of my life. <3
