Lee & Brittany | Marriott Ranch, Virginia Wedding Photographer

I remember sitting in my office with Brittany talking about her wedding day like it was yesterday! Did Saturday really happen?! Although, I guess Lee has a scar of proof that Saturday did indeed happen! He was such a trooper after a horse accident that occurred earlier that day. I’m glad he’s okay and was able to enjoy the festivities of the wedding!!

It was obvious how Lee and Brittany’s family was a priority on their wedding day. 🙂 Marriott Ranch was a beautiful choice for their venue as their casual, intimate theme fit the atmosphere! We had the best time running around in every direction for their portraits since we were completely surrounded by mountain views. 🙂 Although, we didn’t run around too much because it was 90+ degrees!!! Crazy for an April day, but at least it didn’t rain on us! Looking through these photos, you would never have thought it was soooo hot! I guess that’s a good thing, right? 😉

During the reception, I could not help but admire the fun and carefree dancing. I asked Lee’s mom how she had that much energy on the dance floor and just from our short conversation, her words lingered for the remainder of the evening. She said that she had been battling bone marrow cancer and that she wants to live every day like it’s her last. Goodness, I need this as a reminder every day! SO true!!! <3 I loved seeing everyone’s joy and happiness throughout the day and already enjoy looking back through these precious memories. So happy for Lee and Brittany!!!
