Last month, I had the opportunity to watch Julien play polo at Morven Park, and boy, I was impressed!! For our first date, he actually got me on a horse and taught me a little about polo. Honestly, the last time I was on a horse before that point was back in high school. I was nervous, but Julien was a great teacher and assured me that I was doing great. š He’s a great encourager!!
I knew before my fall wedding season picked up, I had to watch him play! š Fortunately, my schedule lined up with two matches this summertime! The first game I watched him play last month, I regretted not having my camera. I tried taking photos on my phone but, of course, it wasn’t ideal for action or close up shots. Fortunately, I remembered this time around and was excited to capture some close up shots of Julien and his team! They did a great job and won the almost tied game! So proud of him!! š I was excited to photograph these action shots and thought I would switch up the blog to share some of my favorite moments with you all!
Polo is ending for the year, but if you ever want a relaxing night next summer, come out to polo with family, friends and a picnic basket! It’s fun dressing up, drinking wine, enjoying great company and watching the polo match! Hope to see you next year! š
