Eddie & Rachel | Blue Valley Vineyard, Virginia Wedding Photographer

I apologize in advance for the OVERLOAD of photos! I have wayyyyyy too many favorites! 🙂 🙂 🙂 The day started with a cool, fall breeze on the most perfect September day at the ever-s0-gorgeous Blue Valley Vineyard. Eddie and Rachel are some of the sweetest, most down to earth people. Not to mention, selfless and so appreciative! I was by Rachel when she gave her mom a generous gift, and it brought tears to her mom’s eyes. I know she had to be proud of the daughter they raised. 🙂 Speaking of gifts, Eddie surprised Rachel with a BEAUTIFUL set of earrings she wore on her wedding day! As she recited the letter she read before the wedding festivities began, she surprised herself by tearing up all over again. Gah, I cannot get over these two and the love they have for one another! Speaking of love, they hold 1 John 2:19 so dear to their hearts. Amen!

Rachel slipped into her dress, and the entire room gasped seeing her all dolled up. I LOVE the back of her dress! She looked stunning, and we knew that Eddie would be in awe!. 🙂 Rachel and her family had a little moment together before walking her down the aisle, and I couldn’t tell if I should cry or laugh with them! Lol! It was so sweet seeing their bond! <3 Two stories up from the ladies, Eddie was with the men gearing up for the big celebration. The men … Oh gosh … They were a fun bunch! After running around outside photographing groomsmen photos, it was time to get hitched! Eddie’s eyes filled up with tears when he saw his bride walk outside. They were surrounded by their favorite people with the most incredible mountain backdrop! I loved that Eddie and Rachel wrote their own vows. It made me tear up hearing them. God has brought these two together with a purpose to share and be an example of selfless love! Finally, they were pronounced as husband and wife, and they danced their way down the aisle! 🙂 They might have been excited! 😉

We were so fortunate to have a gorgeous sunset for their portrait time! 🙂 It seemed as though the sun lingered around the majority of our run around time, thank goodness! We utilized that time wisely, although, we got a little carried away! I could have photographed Eddie and Rachel way longer than 30-minutes, but we had a big party to attend. 😉 Their reception was decorated in sage green, gold, white and pinks, a beautiful and classy environment! Looking straight out of the windows was a 180-degree view of the mountains. The perfect backdrop!!! There was another surprise after the reception began. As you can tell, they love surprises!!! Rachel surprised Eddie with a cake cut out of CHEESE!! Genious! Check out his reaction below. 🙂 It’s the best! Haha! After the sweetest speeches and parent dances, KD Production Entertainment put together one heck of a party! It was my first time working with them, and they rocked it!!! They got the crowd involved and packed on the dance floor. Never a dull moment! Before we knew it, the day ended, and it was time to send the bride and groom off. I couldn’t believe the day flew by, but it definitely ended on a great note! I know I’ll be gushing over these photos the rest of the year. 🙂
