I cannot believe it has been over 2 years since Dustin and Brooke got married! I was writing this blog post and could have sworn they got married early last year. I need to get my years straight because it’s almost 2018! Yikes!!! This is an exciting post for many reasons! Brooke and I have stayed in contact since their wedding day, and I’m so glad we have! She just brightens my day every time!! <3 We have gotten together for portrait sessions with her family, catch-up dinners, Bachelorette watch parties, my housewarming party and now this big announcement!! She reached out to me excitingly asking if I would document this stage of their lives. Uhhhhh, YES!!!! Don’t have to ask me twice! š I could not be more thrilled for Dustin and Brooke! They are going to make amazing parents! Especially knowing their families, I can see how they are going to reflect that back to their little one. <3
Dustin, Brooke and I met up last week for these darling photos, and if you haven’t read the story about almost getting stuck on the mountain, read that story HERE! š Haha! It turned out to be a beautiful day for their announcement portraits!!! It was foggy and super cloudy earlier, but it cleared up just in time for their photos! It was a quick session, but fortunately, they made it just in time before the sun disappeared behind the clouds for the night. I loved seeing how HAPPY Dustin and Brooke were about this new adventure they are about to embark! They deserve every bit of it and I cannot wait to see the day when they get to hold their blessed baby in their arms!! That day will be here before we know it! <3 This session was a beautiful way to celebrate a new beginning!
