Spring is in the airrrrrr!!! 🙂 I love seeing flowers and greenery in my photo sessions again!! Today’s feature is a darling post because this sweet couple, Adam and Anne, have long anticipated this moment!! After a decade of being together, they officially tied the knot along with their closest family. I love intimate ceremonies, especially when it is as sweet as what you see below! There was no shortage of emotional moments. 🙂 We were surrounded by the beauty of Airlie Center’s outdoor atmosphere. Canadian geese swam gracefully behind Adam and Anne as they pronounced their love for one another at the altar. There was something so peaceful about the evening, especially with the ceremony site right next to the water. Although we had some pretty gusty winds, it seems like I should get used to photographing on these windy days! But the sun was shining and we couldn’t help but take advantage of the beautiful day!!!
After they celebrated being husband and wife with a kiss (and after we ran around photographing around the property), they were off to celebrate with their families! 🙂 Adam and Anne reserved a beautiful side room, perfect space for the size of their wedding! Neutral cloths with the pops of the greenery was a great compliment to the light and airy space. Plenty of window light with plantation shutters and chandeliers created an elegant, southern setup. And, of course, I loved photographing the pretty Etsy calligraphy name cards in each seat!! So cute!! After everyone was settled in, Adam and Anne were welcomed into the dinner hour with cheers and claps from family. They enjoyed cutting the delicious raspberry vanilla cake together followed by listening to Anne’s father toast to their marriage. It was a meaningful and intimate day for everyone involved, and I was honored to be a part of it!!! I also loved that the celebrating continued beyond their wedding day. They invited their closest family and friends down to OuterBanks to spend the week with them. 🙂 I love how much they value family because, at the end of the day, those loved ones are their supporters and cheerleaders. And we are all cheering them on! <3
