This may seem like a day late … Well, it is … BUT because I photographed two weddings Saturday and Sunday, I took yesterday to organize my business and personal to-dos for the week! 🙂 So let’s roll with it! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the first day of sunshine in a WEEK! Whew! This dreary weather can be so depressing. At least we have blooming flowers and greenery! 🙂 To be honest, though, I’m NOT a fan of thunderstorms at all. We have already had some hail storms fly through the area this year, so I’m praying it won’t get worse. If I seem like a wimp so be it! 😉 HAHA! After one storm we had recently, I saw the sun shining and I knew there had to be a rainbow. I ran outside and as soon as I clicked the button, a lightning bolt stretched across the sky. I have never seen something like this before so I had to share it with you all! <3

The weeks/months are flying by faster than I can comprehend. This weekend is a BIG weekend. First, I have to shout out to my sweet friend, Kate, who is getting MARRIED to Alex’s bro on Friday!!!!! AH!!! I cannot wait to celebrate with you all! <3 <3 <3 Love you, Kate! I’m looking forward to MANY San Diego adventures in the near future with you all! You’re a gem and I’m so grateful you were brought into my life! I love your sense of humor, our love for double fisting coffees, avocado toast, peanutttttt butter, wine, kiddie zoo animals (lol!), pitbull’s song (need I say more), sense of adventure including driving in the snow when everything is shut down except Target (really, the only store that counts) and the countless, hilarious Marco Polos! I cannot wait to watch (through the tears) you marry your best friend! See you soooooon!!!! <3 <3 <3

I’m grateful to have spent some time with Alex before the big move down to Florida this weekend! Although, it’s definitely bittersweet. Ollie and I are SO sad he’s leaving, but we are looking forward to many road trips down to visit Destin!!! 🙂 I mean, who would complain about the beach life? 😉 Ollie absolutely ADORES Alex so so so much. It was really sad seeing Alex say goodbye (for now) to Ollie. I had to take this photo of Ollie whining at the door. It was heartbreaking. <3  My loves.

Alex just graduated from med school and his friends and I wanted to make sure he knows how much he is loved and will be missed! So we hosted a surprise (but not really a surprise) party for him last Friday. 🙂 It was SO much fun and I’m so grateful for his friend, Tara, for making this happen! <3 Tara, you’re a gem with an amazing heart! We love you!!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out to make this party so much fun!!!

On to other news, I’ll be out of town Memorial Day weekend and next week! I’ll be down in Destin helping Alex move into his new house. <3 Then I’ll be back to photograph some sweet couples and celebrate my 30th Birthday (where’s the monkey covering his face emoticon)! Ah!
