I hope you all are enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend. π I’m currently out of the office and helping Alex move down to Florida this week. I’m not going to get emotional now because that’s for later. π But this past weekend was an incredible one worth sharing today! I anticipated taking Memorial Day weekend off to celebrate my 30th Birthday and travel, but when Alex and I first started dating, he told me his bro was getting married!! So it worked out PERFECTLY in my schedule since I typically have more than one wedding booked over the Holiday weekend. For once, I was freeeeee and available to attend a wedding as a guest. π Also, Memorial Day was a great reminder to appreciate those who serve and who have served in our country! Now that my brother is a part of the military and Alex is as well, I have a new appreciation for the holiday. <3 Thanks to everyone who has made the sacrifice to make a difference. It shouldn’t just be a weekend to recognize them, but every day! THANK YOU!!!!
The long weekend started by Alex and I driving down to Raleigh and surprising Andrew and Kate for dinner! It was fun getting to hang out with the crew as well as Kate’s family. π And aΒ fun little fact, it was the first time the twins, Kate and I all hung out together. Loved the time we spent with them, but wished it didn’t go by so quickly… Before we knew it, we were celebrating at their rehearsal dinner! It was delicious and Alex’s family did an incredible job hosting! Plus, look at those scrummy Duck donuts! So cute!!!
Love these two!!
<3 The crew!!! Wished we all lived closer, but we are officially spread out between Virginia, Florida,Β and California. π
After a wonderful evening with family and friends, it was officially Andrew and Kate’s WEDDING DAY!!!! Holy moly, was it beautiful!!! Some of the girls and I got together that afternoon for a wine date. Fortunately, we found a solution to keep our wine chilled … A welcome bag filled with ice. π HA!
HUSBAND AND WIFE!!!! YAY! Such a sweet ceremony. π Kate looked SOOO gorgeous in her gown and Andrew looked so clean cut! Naturally, I also couldn’t help but admire how handsome Alex looked. <3 <3 <3
LOOK at these details!!!! Kate and her family did a phenomenal job designing the reception!!! I wish I busted out my camera, but I was happy to sit back and be a guest with a cell phone. π HAHA!
LOVE!!! <3
Oh my gosh, Alex’s speech was AMAZING and had everyone laughing the entire time!!! I had full confidence he would knock it out of the park … And he definitely hit a homerun with his jokes and delivery. Great job, babe!!
Gosh, Andrew is the luckiest with this beauty!!! Also, Alex and I had to sneak a quick photo with the sweetest photogs!!! Petie and Sam did a fabulous job on Friday! <3 If you want to check out the photos from Andrew and Kate’s beautiful day, check it out on The Tucker’s blog!!!
We danced the night away and before we knew it, we were all back at the hotel saying our goodbyes. The day flewwwww by so fast! We all had the best time!!!
The next morning, Alex and I were off to Norfolk for another wedding. Fortunately, we had some time to spare in between the ceremony and reception so Alex got to show me a little piece of his stomping grounds at CNU! Congrats to Allison and Clint!!! Beautiful day for a beautiful couple!!
I’ll be officially back in my office next Monday after my return from Florida. But I have so much to share with you all this week and cannot resist waitingΒ any longer!
So, coming to the blog this week…
