If you missed the casual, but exciting, announcement from yesterday’s blog post, I’m in the middle of having my website/blog redesigned!!! Moving forward in my business, I needed a change! I would give you all of the reasons why I’m doing it, but that will wait until the big debut this fall and then you’ll understand why! 🙂 AH! I’m SO pumped!!!! I hired the talented Sam Tucker from Refresh!! I cannot wait to see his artwork come to life!!
Over the winter season, I never had the opportunity to share my favorite photos from the 2017 year with you all! As I share this series of favorite pictures from the past year, it will also give me the chance to narrow down favorite photos to feature on my brand new website. 🙂 Gosh, it gets more and more challenging as I collect more pictures throughout my business life! To think I have to take over SIX years of professional work and select only 30 of my absolute favorites that embody everything of what my business stands for is challenging! It will take some time to cull through the hundreds of favorite photos to finalize a solid portfolio. But I cannot wait to have a new look!! 🙂
As I share some of my favorite pictures from last year, I cannot help but reflect on the incredible time I had with each of these beautiful families!!! From maternity to senior graduates to young families, each of these sessions contributed to another successful and fun year! I owe them all so much for their enthusiasm and support. <3 I enjoyed putting together this blog post and reflecting on all of the adventures I had with each of these families, even during our short time photographing their portraits! We had ice, down pouring rain, beautiful sunsets, hot and humid temperatures, unbearable wind, mud, traffic, ticks, and the most beautiful backdrops … And yet, despite some of the challenges and obstacles we faced, you can see JOY and happiness in all of these photos!!! I love what I do because of these results!! What matters are these relationships we have with each other. <3 I look forward to sharing more of my favorites from this year and the future years ahead!!!
