I’m back from a long weekend family reunion in Canada! 🙂 I woke up early this morning to dive right back into work. You don’t get to see everything I do behind the scenes, but I have a lot going on. All exciting things, though! I’m finalizing ideas/content for my new website (debuting the end of this month!! AH!), assembling wedding/portrait/gift packages, designing albums, photographing sessions, culling/editing thousands of photos, meeting with new and current brides, and so much more! It’s a crazy time of the year and it’s already crazy to think that it’s mid-September? Really? All I keep thinking is the nursery rhyme, “Rain, rain, go away!” Ha!

Let’s dive into some dope and nope memories from the past week!

Dopes

Dope #1

Canada family reunion at the beautiful Niagara on the Lake. 🙂 I had NO idea that Niagara on the Lake was a huge destination, but GOSH, it’s gorgeous!!! There are over 30 wineries in the area and the cutest downtown area. 🙂 It was nice catching up with family from all over. I appreciate the family reunions now that I’m older and can relate more to conversations. 😉 Oh, and can drink wine with them … Even though they proved to me that I cannot keep up! Haha!

While visiting Canada, my mom, sis, and I decided to stop by Niagara Falls. 🙂 So beautiful!!!

I love any excuse to come back to Marriott Ranch, soak in the beautiful views and catch up with my “friendors!” Last week, I had the opportunity to go back and photograph around the property for their new website (debuting soon!)!! Maybe real estate photography could be in my future? 🙂

Nopes

Nope #1

I’m so grateful for work. 🙂 But there are days (like today) I don’t feel like there are enough hours in a day to get everything done. I only have a few months of this, so I’m going to work my booty off and make every hour count. 🙂 I’m just glad I have a pretty office with the best view to work in every day!!

Nope #2

Even though it looks like Ollie made the “Nopes” list this week, it’s really a nope on me! I was on the phone with Alex late one night, cleaning up around the house, and Ollie was trying to get my attention but I kept running around him. I turned around and found him giving me the saddest puppy face… Break my heart now… It was the cutest thing ever so of course, Alex asked to Facetime with him. It made Ollie’s night (and of course, mine). 🙂
