I’m at it again with “Coffee Talk Mondays” and BOY I need a lot of coffee today! It’s the beginning of the October craziness, and it has officially begun. On the plus side, HAPPY OCTOBER!!! I’m excited for this month for many reasons. π 1) I love fall because that means pumpkin everything! 2) It’s campfire season! 3) Fall outfits!! Bring on the boots and scarves! 4) So many upcoming pretty weddings and portrait sessions! 5) We are that much closer to Christmas which means I GET TO SEE ALEX!! So. Ready.
It has been quite quiet over here!! For good reasons too. π I decided to take my one weekend off this fall season to travel to the west coast and enjoy some sunshine while Alex works his tail off in the residency program. Besides not being in the office, I’ve been working SO hard with my incredible website designer on my BRAND NEW WEBSITE!!! GUYS. I’m STOKED. It’s seriously sooooo fancy and I can hardly contain myself!!!!! π π π π π π
** IMPORTANT β This blog will be combined with my website (www.stephaniemessick.com <= new design debuting VERY soon!!) and www.stephaniemessickblog.com will no longer exist. I’ll be sure to make another public announcement soon. π It will be a big change, but definitely for the better!!! I’m SO excited!!!

Thank goodness for mobile technology!!!
I love that my job can travel wherever I go!! I really enjoy working on the plane without distractions. π
Also, I love traveling out west and waking up super early to catch the sunrise! π I managed to squeeze in some work before our adventures. Thank goodness for traveling back in time. π

WEST COAST ADVENTURES
I was so pumped to go out west to adventure and hang out with friends. <3 Although, I spent WAY more money than anticipated (timeΒ to hibernate for a while), I’m glad I was able to spend quality time with people I love!! I cannot wait to blog more about this trip later!
Ummm … THIS. PIZZA. Seriously, guys. It’s the best of the best. If you’re in San Diego, it’s a MUST and you can thank Kate and I later. π Also, you MUST ride a scooter around. HAHA!

When Packaging is Appreciated
I love details and I put a lot of time creating and crafting details for my packages. π When my couples enthusiastically post on FB or IG about their little mail love, it makes my heart skip a beat! Gosh, I love my joy-filled couples!!! I found these posts while I was traveling and made my week!

He never ceases to amaze me. Long distance is HARD and there’s a lot more work involved when you’re in a relationship 1,000 miles away. I’m so appreciative for everything this man does for me to make me feel loved. The countdown continues … 11 MORE WEEKS until I can be in his arms again!!!!

Devotional time … Or lack of.
I realized when I’m traveling, my devotional time is easily set aside. I did manage to do a few devotionals when I was away, but it’s definitely not the same routine as I have back home. When I returned, my friend, Kate, and I talked about how there are times we make ourselves feel bad and feel the need to catch up. BUT I love what Kate said … “God doesn’t want us to feel bad for not staying on top of our devotionals. He just wants us to be in His Presence and spend time with Him!” AMEN.
