Coffee Talk Mondays

Coffee Talk Mondays

Wow. As you can tell from last week’s blog posts, it was a busy one. If you asked Alex, he knows ALL about it. 😉 Poor, guy! I’m soooo grateful for him and for keeping me sane during this hectic fall wedding season. The great news is this is the last week of editing craziness, and then I’ll be sailing until Christmas (for the most part)!!! My last fall wedding happens with Brennan and Lindsey on November 17th, and I’m SO excited for the upcoming Holiday season!!! In the midst of the craziness last week, I learned that my grandparents are visiting Virginia for an entire week during Thanksgiving! I’m excited for upcoming family/friend time because I’ve been hiding inside the past couple weeks grinding through my to do list.

CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

I am SOOO excited to share that I’ll be hosting my SEVENTH Annual Christmas Mini Session day on November 25th in Warrenton, VA!!!! I’m even more excited that Airlie is hosting us there with their landscape completely DECKED out in Christmas lights and decorations! It’s going to be a beautiful sight, and perfect for these Christmas portraits. 🙂 If you are interested in reserving your spot (offering sunrise and sunset portraits), I have a limited number of openings available so please email me at info@stephaniemessick.com to learn more!

I hope you are able to join me this year and celebrate the start of Christmas!!! My favorite time of the year! <3

Let’s move on to what happened this past week… You know what that means! It’s time to grab a cup of jo and join me for Coffee Talk Monday! 🙂

MOCHA MOMENTS
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

1
THE PERSONALITY OF THE SKY

I’m a fan of sunsets. So the pro of working long days is witnessing the beauty of sunrises and sunsets! When Alex and I first started dating and he shared his enthusiasm for a good sunset, I was relieved to hear he had the same appreciation. My brother playfully gives me a hard time and pulls me away from a potential good sunset by saying, “We get it Stephanie. The sun sets every day!” HAHAHA! Yes. BUT, every sunrise and sunset has it’s own personality and it also is a time to appreciate God’s beautiful creation around us. He is amazing!!!

OLLIE LOVES HIS COMMUNITY

I’m sooooo glad I raised Ollie in a community where a park is just across the street! There isn’t a fenced in area, but I take him to a half-fenced in area where I release him free to run with that big ball. Oh, it’s his FAVORITE. He needs to release the energy … As you’ll see why below!!

I’m also grateful that he is a very outgoing, friendly pup who loves making friends! I had to snap a quick photo of him and his bestie, Obi! If you saw them play together, your pup loving heart would explode! They are the cutest!!!

ESPRESSO MOMENTS
THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

1
COMPUTER WORK FOR DAYZ.

This past week was brutal. Really, no exaggeration. A TON of computer work. On top of that, my email server had some technical difficulties and stalled my routine the first part of the week. Talk about frustrating. But fortunately, it was resolved by Thursday so I’m back in action!!!!

OHHHHH BOY.

Like I said above, last week was brutal with work days up to 14.5 hours. After another double header weekend, I’m surprised I’m still with it this morning at 7:30 a.m.. I’m working hard and pushing through because I know this season is almost done!!! With the Holidays just around the corner, and seeing Alex is that much closer, there’s a lot to look forward to!!! HOWEVER, with the computer work comes a little chaos on the side… It’s hard being a full time stay at home #bosslady because Ollie wants to play with me 24/7. I’m currently working out a play/relax schedule with him so he’s too exhausted to destroy my house. HA!

Coffee Talk Mondays

HAPPY MONDAY!!!! Until the next Coffee Talk Monday, hopefully, I’ll have some fun fall adventures to share!! 🙂
