I’ve been photographing this family for years, and I cannot tell you how much of a joy it is to watch returning clients grow from the previous time together. Not only is it fun catching up, but it’s also an honor that they want to use my services again! It means more than they will ever know. <3 One sweet family I love catching up with from year to year is the Wilson family! Not only are they as sweet as can be, but they are always so stylish!!! As soon as I saw Caitlyn, my jaw dropped because her dress was PERFECT for this fall session. 🙂 For those who are wondering, she got it from Lulus (YESSSS!!!), and I might have to track it down because it’s a great Holiday dress!! Speaking of their sense of style, they are so good when it comes to pairing clothing. In fact, they are featured in the style guide I send to my clients. 🙂 I’m going to have to update it again this winter after photographing this session!! 😉
Carter is one very charming kid! He has a very well-rounded personality, and I know that came from his parents!! It was fun chatting with him as well as his parents about school and what he wants to be when he grows up. Caitlyn says it’s fun listening to his future dreams because they change from year to year. How fun is it to hear a kid talk about their dreams?! He told me his favorite subject is currently science and he wants to be a scientist in the future! I love his sense of adventure, kid sense of humor, and his honesty! I just know he’s going to be GREAT when he grows up!!! As we walked around, he was telling his parents how he kept a journal of all of his thoughts, and apparently, it was their first time hearing about it as well as a box he saves money. HAHA! Needless to say, I was impressed by his young age to know the value of a dollar and drawing out his imagination on paper! These are all early signs of enduring qualities he will carry forth growing up. Carter, continue saving, playing, and dreaming big!!! Also, got to love his bow tie in this shoot! Caitlyn told me he picked it out himself. 🙂 Can I have a future little Carter in my life?! HAHA! This darling family is one of a kind, and I love them!!! <3
