Earlier this year, Brennan, Lindsey, and I met for their Harper’s Ferry engagement session. But the months FLEW by since then with a lot of excitement building up for their big day! 🙂 If you didn’t get the opportunity to read their love story and check out their session on the blog, check it out HERE!!! Lindsey and I knew each other from JMU (GO DUKES!!!), and were both involved in the MRDs!!! My last year of the MRDs, I was her drill instructor and remembered how attentive to detail she was, as well as her natural ability to be a leader. After I graduated, she took on one of the leadership roles in the piccolo section which led her to the drum major role her senior year! SO AWESOME!!! I loved hearing in her father’s speech how Lindsey has always strived for the best in everything she does, which is what brought her to last Saturday. She found the one whom her soul loves and found the perfect man. 🙂

I love and adore Brennan and Lindsey together for many reasons. 1) The way Brennan looks at Lindsey is undeniably the cutest thing! 2) The way Lindsey laughs and smiles around Brennan is infectious!!! 3) They honor God and put Him in the center of their relationship! 4) They are VERY family oriented!!! I didn’t realize how family oriented until the day of the wedding, and my heart was so overjoyed chatting with their parents. Both have been married for a long time and demonstrate beautiful examples of long commitment. This support from their families will be so encouraging to Brennan and Lindsey as the years go by. 🙂 What was very special and personable on Saturday was Brennan’s father officiated the wedding. Speaking of their fathers, I made sure to mentally take note of those tailgate parking spots for the next time I visit a JMU football game, Mr. Martin. 😉 😉 😉 HAHAHA! #godukes!

Saturday was a beautiful celebration to honor Brennan and Lindsey’s commitment to God and each other, as they gathered with their closest family and friends in Richmond, Virginia on a gorgeous November day! When Lindsey was putting together the look for their wedding, she wanted a classy, fall theme with midnight blues and golds throughout the details. When I walked into the reception room at the Renaissance, my jaw dropped! I lovedddd the fairy lights overhead creating a magical atmosphere for their party! And talk about a party, the families were overjoyed with smiles and laughs all night long! Love that!!! I feel so honored to have been able to celebrate with everyone, and I’m excited to share these pretty photos beautiful the Holidays! <3

Tears flooded his eyes as he watched his bride walk towards him. I loved during their “first touch,” Lindsey said, “I promise to meet you up there in a few!” <3

The ring bearer pillow was repurposed by Brennan’s mom! She made it from Lindsey’s childhood blanket and buttons from her mother’s wedding dress! So special!!!

I even spotted Brennan tearing up watching Lindsey and her father dance. <3 But after the parent dances were done, Lindsey had a little surprise up her sleeve!!! The bridal party put together a choreographed dance for Brennan and then had him come out to join them on the dance floor! It was so fun to watch!!!

Then it was dancing time for everyone!!! 🙂

Was it Cotton Eye Joe??? Some sort of line dance came on, and Lindsey was getting down in her dress (so impressed), while her parents and Brennan were on the sideline stomping their foot and clapping their hands to the beat. Haha!

Oh my gosh… This was SO entertaining to photograph!!! I wanted to jump in and join them. 🙂 What I found is they could easily put together a flash mob … because that pretty much happened without any preparation! So fun!!!
