I had the honor of connecting with Alexia and Nate before Milo was born. Since then, they have been a burst of sunshine in my business!!! They have the most gentle, warmhearted, caring souls. I have really enjoyed getting to know them and watch them grow their photography business!!! They are based in Maryland (so shout out to those who are in need a photographer in Maryland, check out Alexia’s website HERE!), and made the hike out to Manassas, Virginia for their updated family portraits a couple of months ago. 🙂 I wanted to hold off posting this blog post until they announced the news … Because … This time around was SUPER special. Alexia and Nate didn’t expect it in their wildest dreams, but they are currently anticipating the arrival of a little blessing early next year!!!! So much appreciation going into the Holiday season. <3
I can always expect a great time when photographing this darling family. 🙂 Milo is developing the cutest personality too!!! One thing during this session, he REALLY enjoyed taking off his shoes… Haha! As cute as they are, Milo didn’t care for them in the photos. 😉 I loved his chuckles by the end of the session when he thought it was funny to kick them off. SO CUTE! Speaking of Milo, he has pretty eyes!!! Oh my goodness!! But to be expected because he has beautiful parents! 🙂 Speaking of his parents, I absolutely LOVED Alexia’s BHLDN dress! She got it before she heard the pregnancy news, but gosh, Alexia still rocked it!!! Yet again, the Ballantine family created a one-of-a-kind experience in front of my camera. <3 I’m so grateful for their friendship, and I’m SO excited about their upcoming adventures as a family of four!!!!

When we asked, “Where’s the baby?” Milo placed his hand on top of Alexia’s baby bump. <3 SO SWEET!!!!
